GEOMETRY CHAIR

The geometry chair is a study of combining elements that fit our orthogonal spaces and elements that fit the contours of the human body. The walnut frame is a cube of geometry that fits the orthogonal nature of the houses we living in. The bent plywood planes fit the body. The plywood is kerfed and tapered walnut spacers inserted to create the curve. This chair placed in the top ten of the Rockleer plywood challenge.
